About MASING 2018

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Niš, organizes the Forth International Conference "Mechanical Engineering in the 21st Century" – MASING 2018. The conference will be held in Niš, Serbia on April, 19-20th, 2018. In the last few years, the economic system has changed in the direction of market economy, private ownership, and the intensive creation of small and medium enterprises. Serbia's strategy and policy of scientific and technological development gives the vision of Serbia as an innovative country in which scientists reach European standards, thereby contributing to the overall level of knowledge of society and improving the technological development of the economy.

The main goal of the Forth International Conference "Mechanical Engineering in the 21st Century" is to bring together researchers from scientific and industrial institutions so that they can present and communicate their newest results, create personal contacts, promote research within the area of mechanical engineering, and stimulate the exchange of results and ideas within the fields encompassed by the Conference.

MASING 2018 Committees

Organizing Committee (OC) is in charge for the organization of the conference. All decisions related to the scientific programme are made by the International Programme Committee (IPC), based on the peer review process, coordinated by the IPC co-chairs. Track chairs are in charge of setting up a scientific programme in the specific topics, which are decided upon based on the submitted track proposals.

Call for contributors

We welcome submission of extended abstracts presenting original unpublished work which is not been submitted for publication elsewhere.

Abstract should contain object and goals of the study, the experimental methods applied, results obtained and conclusions. Title should not be longer than 2 (two) lines. For each author, full first and last names are obligatory. For other names, if any, initials might be used, as well as full names. The Abstract should have no more than 200 words. Keywords should be composed of about 5 (five) terms or phrases.
Abstracts should be submitted in DOC, DOCX or ODT format. Please, send us abstracts by e-mail to masing@masfak.ni.ac.rs. The deadline for abstracts submission is December 28, 2017.
